After the initiative of the President of Florina Chamber Mr. Savvas Sapalidis, the tasks of the 1st Balkan chambers’ meeting, took place with absolute success, in Florina, Saturday 7th of November of 2015. This meeting was organized, within the session of the Administrative Commission of the Union of Hellenic Chambers of Commerce, organized the previous day, Friday 6th of November of 2015.
Delegations from the Union of Hellenic Chambers of Commerce were present at the meeting, with their President, Mr. Konstantinos Michalos, and the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Leskovac (Serbia) and Paphos (Cyprus).
The Deputy Minister of Macedonia – Thrace, Ms. Maria Kollia - Tsaroucha, the new Deputy General Secretary of International Economic Relations, Ms. Tektonidou Kiriaki, and also the local Members of Parliament, the representatives of the Regional and Local Government of the Chambers of Kozani, Kastoria and Grevena, of the Greek - Serbian Chamber, the Greek - Bulgarian Chamber and the Greek - Italian Chamber, honored the meeting with their presence. At the meeting the discussion points were the potential of further promotion of the collaboration between the Balkan Chambers, but also the development prospects of the economic and commercial cooperation and networking amid the businesses, especially the small-medium businesses, in matters about internalization and extroversion.
