The Kick-Off Meeting of the INTERCLUSTER Project – “Promoting Interregional logistic clustering in Adrion Area” – was successfully organized by the Preveza Chamber, with the support of Euricon.
The Chamber of Preveza leads a partnership made up of 11 partners from 6 Adriatic-Ionian countries. Specifically, the partnership consists of: Preveza Chamber and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from Greece, Airports of Puglia S.p.A. and National Confederation of Crafts and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Association Bari Province from Italy, Institute for Sustainable Development and Slovenian Logistic Association from Slovenia, Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina and University of Mostar from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Centre for Competitive Skills and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development from Albania and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia.
“INTERCLUSTER” project aims to develop and pilot test innovative solutions to enhance the Sustainability, Innovation & Internationalization of Logistic Sector in Adrion Area, by establishing a Smart & Sustainable Macro-regional Cluster in this sector, in order to: - promote the green and digital transition of the sector - introduce innovation and policy instruments - encourage the development of short supply chains
Representatives and executives from all project partners and the associated partner ETANAM SA OTA attended the meeting. Project Officer from the Joint Secretariat of the INTERREG IPA - ANDRION Program also participated. The first day of the meeting, the President of the Preveza Chamber welcomed the participants and then the implementation methodologies of the deliverables of the project were presented. The second day, various management issues and publicity issues were discussed and decisions were made. The meeting was completed with a study visit in a regional Transport and Logistics company in the industrial area of Preveza.
