Euricon planned and organized the events of the celebrations which were successfully completed at the Chamber of Florina, celebrating the 90 years of the Chamber of Florina.
1st day of events
On Friday 23/8, the Extended Meeting of the Union of Hellenic Chambers of Commerce was held in which the presidents and representatives of the chambers and also representatives of other bodies participated.
The president of the Chamber of Florina, Savvas Sapalidis, spoke about the strategic importance and development prospects of Florina and Western Macedonia in general, as well as about the new economic environment. The first vice-president of the Union of Hellenic Chambers of Commerce, Iordanis Tsotsos, praised the work of the Chamber of Florina, as well as the important role played by the Chambers and businesses in supporting the economy and society, especially in times of economic, social and geopolitical challenges.
2nd day of events
On Saturday 8/24, the celebration of the 90 years of the Florina Chamber took place. Greetings were addressed by the deputy governor of Florina Thanasis Taskas, the vice-president of the Union of Hellenic Chambers of Commerce Iordanis Tsotsos, the president of GSEVEE Giorgos Kavvathas, the president of ESEE Giorgos Karanikas, the vice-mayor of Amyntaio Giorgos Kioses, the president of the Municipal Council of Prespa Fotis Georgiou. The following speeches followed:
- The Chamber of Florina in its transition from the 20th to the 21st century – Challenges and Opportunities, Savvas Sapalidis, President of the Chamber of Florina
- The role of the regional unit of Florina in the Regional Development Model of Western Macedonia, George Amanatidis, Regional Governor of Western Macedonia
- The role of the University in the development of Local Entrepreneurship in the Province of Florina, Theodoros Theodoulidis, Rector of the University of Western Macedonia
- 90 years Florina Chamber – Historical journey, Elektra Pitoska, professor at the University of Western Macedonia
The Deputy Minister of Macedonia and Thrace, Kostas Giulekas, the MP of New Democracy, Stavros Papasotiriou, and the MP of New Left, Theopisti Perkas sent their wishes in writing to the Chamber of Florina.
Finally, the events were concluded in the Martyr's Community of Drosopigi with awards from organizations that support the entrepreneurship of Florina, as well as gifts from the official guests to the Chamber of Florina.
